Instructors
In building my team for this experience, I prioritize Level 5 ACA Certified Instructors who are Wilderness First Responders, have sharp Swiftwater Rescue Skills, and are familiar with the route. More importantly, my instructors are invested in building sense of belonging and community while we live as a floating paddle school for most of a week!
The Main Salmon strips away everything but what matters. Imagine deep canyons, massive boulders, and eagles overhead while you tackle cold, clear whitewater by day and unwind on pristine beaches by evening.
Unlike commercial trips, this builds real community — I came home with new skills and friends I'll boat with for years.
