“What is it like to train in a queer affinity space?" In November 2025, these talented whitewater canoeists gathered in North Carolina to create an affinity space for 5 days of development. This experience was a wonderful reminder that we are all best able to learn when we are welcomed and celebrated for being ourselves. PSI is committed to creating space on the river for everyone, and is focused on elevating and amplifying the voices of communities that have been historically excluded.
